The Bergamotte is a cross between Lime (freshness) and pomerance (punch).

Super Cattivo BERGAMOTTO is the sharpest and most vibrant expression in the range—defined by clarity, tension, and electric citrus freshness.

Calabrian bergamot drives the profile with zesty intensity, sitting precisely between lime-like freshness and the punch of bitter orange. Its aromatic oils are vivid and clean, delivering immediate lift on the palate. Cedro from Sicily adds structure and brightness, while Bourbon vanilla beans soften the edges just enough to keep the bitterness focused rather than severe.

As with all Super Cattivo aperitivi, the process is deliberate and uncompromising. Fresh fruits and vanilla beans are hand-cut and macerated with organic Austrian corn spirit and aromatics in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The infusion is then rested with an organic Grüner Veltliner from Franz Weninger for another 40 days, allowing acidity, citrus, and wine to integrate naturally. A small selection of blossoms adds aromatic lift without distracting from the bergamot’s precision.

Unfiltered and bottled at the Franz Weninger winery in Burgenland, BERGAMOTTO is organic, linear, and exceptionally fresh. It is the most incisive Super Cattivo—built for those who prefer bitterness with edge and definition.

Serve it on ice, as a bright spritz with tonic or sparkling wine, or use it to sharpen a white Negroni. BERGAMOTTO is clean, energetic, and unmistakably Super Cattivo.

Method:

 Hand cut and sliced fruits and vanilla beans macerated in stainless steel tank with spirits and aromatics for 20 days.
Later with wine for another 40 days
